Students complete theory and lectures through a convenient online hybrid format, then build real-world skills through in-person labs at PCC campuses, including access to state-of-the-art learning spaces such as our simulation lab and the Human Anatomy Learning Center at the Pueblo campus.

Our Nurse Aide program is supported by a dedicated team of professionals, including some of the very best administrative assistants, who help guide and support students with their day-to-day needs. Their knowledge, organization, and care help create a welcoming and responsive environment where students feel supported as they begin their healthcare journey through completion.
Our instructional team is made up of experienced nurses who bring an average of 30 years of professional experience to the classroom and lab. Their backgrounds span nursing education, long-term care, acute care, clinics, surgery, informatics, and other healthcare specialties. This depth of experience allows students to learn not only the required skills of a nurse aide but also the professionalism, compassion, communication, and confidence needed to succeed in real healthcare settings.
Together, students are surrounded by a team that believes in their potential and is dedicated to helping them make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients, families, and communities.
Clinical agencies that are used during the program will require that you successfully complete a background check, drug screening, immunization series and CPR training. You must also carry malpractice insurance.
The licensure requirements for Nurse Aide may differ between all 50 states and U.S. territories.

to identify the program requirements for each state in which you plan to live and practice.
