    What Will I Learn
The LPN program teaches you skills of direct patient care that you can apply in numerous healthcare settings. It offers theoretical and applied instruction in classrooms, simulated laboratories, and clinical settings. It integrates education in adult, gerontological, obstetric, pediatric, and psychiatric-mental health nursing. Your clinical learning will take place in diverse types of institutions. After successfully completing the two semesters of the program, students are eligible to write the Practical Nursing National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN). Successful performance on the (NCLEX-PN) awards state licensure and qualifies you for the title of Licensed Practical Nurse.

The Pueblo Community College Practical Nursing Program (stand alone) is NOT accredited by a National Nursing Accreditation agency. Attendance at a non-accredited nursing school can make you ineligible to attend an accredited nursing school.
