Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME)

Are you interested in a career in manufacturing or a STEM-related field? We’re excited to offer a new program with the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) and some of the area’s biggest manufacturers that will let you earn while you learn!

How it works: If you are accepted into the program, you’ll work three days a week for a sponsoring employer, earning at least $12 per hour and getting critical hands-on experience. You’ll attend PCC classes the other two days of the week, getting the education that will develop your work skills even further.

What you’ll get: You’ll graduate from PCC in two years as an advanced manufacturing technician with 1,800 hours of on-the-job training, an associate degree and, in many cases, a full-time job offer in a high-paying industry.

Apply online by May 7.
