Employer Hub

Welcome, employers!

Thank you for visiting our Career Services page in the interest of recruiting Pueblo Community College students. Our Office of Career and Community Connection is here to help you strategize about recruiting our skilled and talented student population. The first step to getting connected is to make sure you have a user account with our PCC handshake database.

Personalize your brand and connect with our students in a tailored way.

  1. Campaigns and events
Share your company’s information or upcoming virtual events to drive students and qualified applicants to your open positions or update potential prospects with news and the latest information.
  2. Tailor to the talent
Customize how students and alumni can see and interact with you. All companies can create an employer Handshake page (Here are some tips for starting employers). You can find more details in the link to start connecting and tailoring our students’ experience.

Want to know what degrees and pathways we offer?

PCC has more than 72 programs with a variety of certificates and degrees that help our students achieve their goals and build their careers.

Other ways to connect with our skilled students

As a career service office, we understand how important it is that you get a chance to connect with our students.

  1. Employer tabling spotlights
Employer tabling offers your company an opportunity to set up in a highly trafficked area of our campus. You will have the chance to network with our students and we will work on the back end with campus departments to notify them in advance of your visit and where you will be located.

These visits are offered between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. To schedule a time, contact us by completing an Office of Career and Community Connection Request form
  2. College-wide and industry-specific career fairs
PCC hosts both standard all-college career fairs and industry-specific career fairs every spring. This allows employers to connect with our student population on a mass level through in-person and virtual tabling fairs.
  3. Industry nights
PCC hosts a week of in-person industry nights related to our guided pathways during which employers have a chance to host a presentation and Q&A session, with informational sessions in a one-on-one group setting dedicated to your industry and our degree pathways. PCC knows how important it is for students to have an opportunity to learn about your job offerings, how they may vary from others in the area, and the day-to-day work involved. We offer these events to help our students learn more and effectively build professional relationships through networking.
  4. Externships
    Shadow opportunities/Site visits and tours
Are you interested in bringing students to your location and giving them an opportunity to learn about the work you do? This is a chance to partner with the Office of Career and Community Connection to provide students a sneak peek of the workspace and envision themselves in a career with your company. Visits and tours are one way for employers to connect with students on a personal basis while offering a sample of what a “day in the life” could be. Students can learn and take the next steps toward making career decisions.
