    Alternative Credit Project™

Credit to Kickstart Your PCC Program

If you have stopped out of college, the Alternative Credit Project (ACP) provides a pool of online courses that Pueblo Community College (PCC) will accept towards your degree. A national program of the American Council on Education, supported by a generous grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the ACP is designed to help adults finish what they started—a two- or four-year degree, or a post-secondary certificate.

Even if you’re not ready to apply yet, PCC is here to help! We have admissions counselors, financial aid advisors, and academic advisors who specialize in helping students who have started careers or families to come back to school and finish their education. At PCC we want to see your potential realized.

    PCC Admission Overview

We can’t wait for you to be a part of the PCC family. Applying for admission as a transfer student is easy—simply follow our Getting Started Checklist, and we’ll walk you through the process. If you attended PCC before, you may have a shorter path to readmission. We admit transfer students in both fall and spring semesters. Most students will need to complete an application and supply transcripts for all prior college-level work. IMPORTANT: You may request your ACP transcript directly from the American Council on Education (ACE).

    Evelyn ACE Testimonial

    I Did It—You Can, Too

Just recently, I made a very important decision in my life – to enroll as a part-time student at PCC. I had been contemplating going back to school for a few years. My two daughters definitely encouraged my decision. I am a firm believer in teaching by example, so what better example for my children then to earn an Associate of Applied Science degree.” - Evelyn Sanchez
