Pueblo Community College Southwest is a comprehensive community college in Colorado serving the counties of Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma and San Juan. Its main campus is located in the town of Mancos. PCC Southwest offers quality, affordable guarantee-transfer general education classes and transfer degrees in multiple programs, as well as career and technical programs. PCC Southwest offers day and evening classes face-to-face on site and through virtual classrooms and online instruction.

PCC Southwest offers complete enrollment services such as advising, financial aid and registration assistance. See our program page for a complete list of offerings.

PCC Southwest also remains committed to providing higher education in Durango. Through a partnership between PCC and Durango School District 9-R, PCC will relocate its classes to the campus of Durango High School starting in fall 2018. Classes will continue to be available to both the community and concurrent enrollment students from DHS. The Durango site will have a separate entrance and designated parking on the DHS campus.

The Durango site will offer the following Associate of Arts (AA) transfer degrees with their required course prerequisites and electives:

    •   Sociology
    •   Early Childhood Education
    •   Business (fully online)
    •   General AA transfer degree

Pre-health courses also will be offered. Other degree options are available; speak to an advisor for information.

Full-time college students will be able to get a degree in two years. Students who attend Durango High School and don’t finish their college degree before graduating high school may still complete their associate degree at the Durango site.

Current DHS students interested in concurrent enrollment classes need to contact their high school counselor.

PCC will also continue to offer its EMS program in the evenings at the Durango site for traditional college-age students and concurrent enrollment students.
