The Browser Check
Even though you may have a compatible web browser, there are other settings you need to check for. Vista has a tool that you can use to evaluate your computers compatibility with Vista. This tool is called "Check Browser" and it can be found on the log in page and the top header bar on the My Blackboard
Page. The next page has an example of completing the browser check.
Complete Your First Browser Check
- Click on "My Blackboard" in the top right corner of your vista course.
- Click on "Check Browser" at the top right corner of the page.
- Follow the on screen instructions. It may take several minutes for the Check Browser tool to open. If all you get is a blank white page after several minutes, chances are that your coumputers internet security software is blocking the tool.
