The following Specialized Services are available to TRiO SSS participants:

Workshops:  TRiO SSS hosts workshops each semester on various topics.  Dates and times of workshops can be found on the calendar of events.  If there is a workshop that TRiO SSS does not offer and you would like to see us offer it, let us know so that we can look into offering it.

Transfer Initiative Program:  Participants in the Transfer Initiative Program have thirty credits towards graduation.  The transfer advisor assists participants in completing admission, financial aid and scholarship applications to four-year institutions.  Assistance is provided to participants interested in transferring to a four-year institution.  Look on our calendar of events for Transfer tours that will be scheduled throughout the year.  If you are interested in taking a tour, contact Kim Boysen at 549-3043.  See below for links to other colleges for scholarship information, Admissions, Financial Aid and other TRiO Programs.

Cultural Events:  Various events are sponsored throughout the year to promote personal and educational development.  Look at our calendar of events for Cultural event dates and times.

Individualized Tutoring:  One on one tutoring is provided by qualified professional and student tutors to TRiO SSS participants free of charge.

Multi-Subject Drop-In/Group Tutoring:  TRiO SSS now has drop-in tutoring available Monday - Thursday from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday's from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  The tutoring is located in AB 170 or AB 174.

Equipment and Book Check-out:  Laptop computers, calculators, tape recorders and books are available to TRiO SSS participants for check-out during the semester.
