Alpha Rho Theta Chapter took first place, for the 7th year in a row, as Colorado Distinguished Chapter at the Colorado Regional Convention at Aims Community College in Greeley, Colorado, on March 7 and 8, 2003.

The Chapter placed first in three of the four hallmark competitions--Scholarship, Fellowship, and Leadership--and placed third in the Service hallmark competition. Enhanced member Sarah Graham took second place in the Distinguished Chapter Member competition. Chapter President Ron Greenwell took fourth place in the Distinguished Chapter President competition. Chapter advisor Esther Williams placed second in the Distinguished Chapter Advisor competition.

Alpha Rho Theta has once again obtained Five-Star status, and the Chapter also received the Pinnacle Award for increasing membership more than 10 percent from the International Society with a $100 stipend.
