Summary Suspension
In certain circumstances, the Vice President of Student Services, or a designee, may impose a College suspension prior to the disciplinary hearing.
A. Summary suspension may be imposed only:
1. to ensure the safety and well-being of members of the College community
(including the student) or preservation of College property; or
2. if the student poses a definite threat of disruption or interference with the normal
operations of the College.
B. During the summary suspension, student shall be denied access to the campus (including classes) and/or all other College activities or privileges for which the student might otherwise be eligible, as determined to be appropriate by the Vice President of Student Services, or designee.
Interpretation and Revision
A. Any questions of interpretation regarding the Student Code of Conduct
shall be referred to the Vice President of Student Services or designee for final
determination.
B. The Student Code shall be reviewed for possible revision no later than three (3)
years after its implementation and at least every three (3) years thereafter.
