Heather Stevens has been grooming herself for a career as a business leader since her high school years, and her skills have blossomed while attending Pueblo Community College the past two years. At Pueblo West High School, she was President of the DECA organization that prepares students to become future leaders in the business world. At PCC, she has served as a Student Ambassador for two years, representing the college by giving tours, working with counselors in local high schools, making presentations, advising high school students, and handling a variety of recruitment functions.
Along the way, Heather has voluntarily given a great deal of her time to community service projects, and her exemplary work for the college has earned her recognition with a Student Employee Award from PCC's Shining Star Committee. This May, she will graduate from PCC with an Associate of Arts degree with a Business Management emphasis. The next step in her journey will take place this fall when she'll begin studying Business Management, with an emphasis in Health Administration, through the distance learning program at Adams State College.
Heather has made the most of her great opportunities at PCC, and she has grown and excelled while displaying a positive attitude in everything she does. She truly represents all that is good about PCC.
