Career InformationThe Associate of Science degree with a designation in Mathematics prepares students to transfer as a junior to a four-year institution in Colorado in order to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. Bachelor degree curriculums allow students to prepare for graduate school, for teaching careers, or for employment in areas that require mathematics, such as actuarial science, computer science, engineering, or statistics.

Completion of the AS degree in Mathematics from PCC completes the first two years of a mathematics Bachelor’s Degree, and guarantees transfer at Junior standing with no more than 60 remaining credits to meet the graduation requirements for a baccalaureate degree in mathematics.
