    What Will I Learn
Historians are the keepers of social memory, and they explore the past in order to help us make sense of the present. The study of History involves much more than learning about people and events – it involves learning significant skills that are highly valued in many workplaces. These include critical thinking, research skills, written and oral communication skills, the use of digital collections, the careful analysis of source material, and the presentation of evidence in a clear and convincing fashion. These skills are in demand.
