    What Will I Learn

    This program offers you a comprehensive understanding of the theory and practice of modern accounting. There is a strong emphasis on logical reasoning, enabling you to solve accounting problems and to make sound accounting policy decisions. Learn to use state-of-the-art equipment with industry-standard instructional materials, including current software used in today’s world of business. Students have multiple opportunities to engage in Work-Based Learning including enrollment in an Internship course. Many accounting careers, such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), require a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a University. If you intend to transfer, enroll in the Business Management AA degree. You will declare Accounting as your emphasis at the University. It is important that you meet with your advisor to discuss career options and the transferability of courses.
