  • PCC recognizes 1,439 graduates

    PUEBLO – Pueblo Community College awarded degrees and certificates to 1,439 graduates this weekend.

    The commencement ceremony for Pueblo and Fremont campus students was held Friday, May 10 at the Southwest Motors Events Center on the Colorado State Fairgrounds. Pueblo native Kelsey Martinez, the first female assistant coach for the Oakland Raiders football team, was the featured commencement speaker.
     

    Ceremonies for the Southwest Campus in Mancos and the Durango Site were held Saturday, May 11 at Montezuma-Cortez High School. PCC President Patty Erjavec addressed the graduates.

    Twenty-eight high school seniors who took part in PCC’s concurrent enrollment program received their associate degrees. Ten bachelor degrees were awarded, all in PCC’s Dental Hygiene program.
