    AMR Donation Check

American Medical Response has donated $7,400 to Pueblo Community College to help with its emergency medical service programs.

The proceeds come from the AMR Foundation’s annual golf tournament, which supports research and EMS education through donations of money and equipment. This is the 24th year that AMR has donated to PCC.

Mike Lening and Jodi Aumiller of AMR visited PCC to present a check to Dawn Mathis, chair of the EMS education department.

“We’ve appreciated the support in many ways,” Mathis said.

The money will go toward student scholarships and professional development.

“AMR benefits from this giveback, too,” said Lening. “We get better-trained EMS people.”
