Academic Building, Room 134
Diversity Activities Committee is comprised of various interested members from the campus (faculty, staff, and students).
The Pueblo Community College Diversity Activities Committee will provide opportunities to create multi-cultural awareness and an inclusive environment for our Pueblo Community College campuses and communities. We foster and promote a sense of belonging that values and respects the talents, beliefs, backgrounds, and ways of living in our world.
This committee is responsible for exposing our students, staff, faculty, and community to diverse groups that make up our country and world through displays, food, and festivities. We also work to encourage discussion, curiosity, and understanding of different groups through presentations, documentaries, and discussions.
We're always looking for new ideas and members! If there is something that you'd like to see on campus, let us know!
Starting on January 20th, The Diversity Committee is inviting you to participate in one of our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Awareness activities . We are calling it “Coming Out Doors” and we encourage any Departments, Groups or individuals to participate. This project is designed to celebrate coming out and to raise awareness of the LGBT community. Murals, stories, photo exhibits and other art displays can be used to tell a compelling visual and narrative story about the LGBT community. The deadline for submission is February 11th. To participate you will need to send an email to Kayleen.firstname.lastname@example.org and include the following:
