SBDC counseling services are always free

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides free one-on-one counseling for both existing and start-up businesses. Counseling may cover, as needed by the client: 

• business plan development;

• financial analysis and planning;

• operations assistance; 

• market research and analysis; 

• technology research and development; 

• identifying sources of credit and financing; 

• sales promotion, publicity and advertising; 

• management and personnel development; 

• international trade assistance and government procurement.

Note: Calls to Canon City may be forwarded to the Pueblo office. Let the receptionist know where you would like your appointment.

Initial appointments are scheduled for one hour. Come in 5 to 10 minutes early, if possible, to fill out a short counseling request form. Or print it out on-line (.pdf version ), fill it out ahead of time and bring it in with you. Please call if you cannot make it to your appointment. Subsequent appointments can be at time and duration as agreed by you and your counselor. Counseling services are always free.
