- El Pomar Dinner (3rd Year) - contracted by KTSC Channel 8 – PBS Affiliate for Pueblo/Colorado Springs – The production included the truck rental, four cameras, engineer and audio support. The event is held every year at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs.
- Fourth At The Fest (3rd Year)
- contracted by KTSC and the University of Southern Colorado. Production Includes: Truck rental; encompassing six cameras, engineering, audio support and graphic design and production.
- Broncos Rally (2nd Year
) - contracted by KCNC Channel 4 – CBS Affiliate in Denver. Production Includes: Truck rental, encompassing four cameras, audio support and engineering.
- 1998 and 1999 Colorado State Fair Parade
- contracted by the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce– This extensive production included the production truck rental; encompassing six cameras, audio support, graphic design and production as well as engineering. Liever’s Towing provided production support by lending a flat bed trailer to serve as production central for hosts Dan Thomas, Barkley Clark and Andrea Salazar. The Pueblo Chamber, in accordance with our agreement, provided PCC Productions with a generator and "cherry-picker bucket" truck, to capture scenic parade shots.
- 1998 Small Businessman of Year Award Video
- contracted by the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce – Produced in less than 48 hours this twenty minute video showcased the Small Businessman of the Year Awards. Videotaped and edited within two days, this video proved to both the Chamber and Stout Drywall (the small business of the year) that PCC Productions is a full functional, on-schedule production house. The production included on location videography, post-editing on the Media 100 non-linear system, audio mix and music arrangements along with graphic design.
- Colorado Springs Parade of Lights
- contracted by KKTV Channel 11 – CBS Affiliate for Colorado Springs/Pueblo. Production Includes: Truck rental, encompassing six cameras, engineering, audio and graphic design and production.
- Senior’s Inc! Elder Abuse Advocacy Video
- Taped entirely on location in Trinidad. The production entailed five trips to the area, over a dozen on-location interviews and extensive post-production on the Media 100 non-linear editing system. Production resulted in numerous copies produced for educational purposes and will air on Etv Channel 18 beginning Sunday, February 7th at 8:00 p.m.
- COPAA Video
- contracted by the Colorado Outdoor Performing Arts Association. Shot entirely on location in and around Pueblo. This feature piece on the construction of an outdoor theater here in Pueblo also had extensive post editing and music arrangement.
In House Production
- PCC/ USC Graduation Live Simulcast and Produced Video Sales contracted by the institutions of Pueblo Community College and University of Southern Colorado – Certainly a crown jewel in PCC Productions production schedule. Graduation at both institutions is set on a grand scale by the six-camera event. Projected on a 12 x 16-foot screen by PCC Productions Barco Projector the production also enlisted special graphic design.
- Center For Entrepreneurial Studies Series (3 Modules)
– contracted by the Small Business Center at PCC. The three 20 minute videos illustrated a step-by-step process for viewers to start their own business. The video, told in an entertaining and informative way, won an ITVA Gold Peak Award in 1998. Videotaped entirely on location in and around Pueblo by PCC work-studies the video was post edited at PCC Productions, including editing on the Media 100 system as well as multiple audio arrangements, extensive graphic design and voice overs from KKPC’s Dan Thomas.
- PCC First Video
– produced for PCC Communications Office. This ten-minute music video is designed to recruit high school students to PCC. The video showcased PCC and the programs it offers and was extremely well received by the PCC First audience. The production included stock footage, new on-campus videography, musical arrangement and editing on the Media 100 system.
- District 60 Football
-in our fourth season of production, the games feature Jim Brooks and Rick Upchurch (former Denver Bronco) as announcers…6 cameras, instant replay, graphic, and all of the action of a ten game schedule. Plus the two biggest games in Pueblo High Football the Bell and the Cannon game.
- Upward Bound Highlights
– contracted by Upward Bound at PCC. This ten-minute music video was composed of musical arrangement and video editing on the Media 100.

Pro Bono Contributions
- 1998 Candidate Forums
– PCC Productions teamed with The League of Women Voters and the Pueblo Chieftain to telecast forums with the candidates running in the November 1998 election. Videotaped at both the G.A.T.C. Occhiato Theater and the Pueblo Convention Center, the forums were a feather in PCC Productions cap concerning local community issues. The forums enlisted the mobile production truck, four cameras, engineering, audio support and graphic design and production. The races covered by PCC Productions included:

- Pueblo City Budget Review
– Telecast Live from the G.A.T.C. Occhiato Theater this city-planning meeting informed the public on Pueblo’s plans with the 1999 budget.
- Pueblo Festival of Lights Parade
– PCC Productions was asked by the Pueblo Renaissance Project to cover the 1998 parade on Union Avenue. The 98-entry event was covered start to finish by PCC Productions’ four cameras, engineering, audio support and graphic design and production.
- PACOG Live City Wide Meeting
– Was conducted out of the G.A.T.C. Occhiato Theater Saturday, January 30th. The four-hour event was staged by the Burnham group to project Pueblo’s growth into the next millennium. The production used the production truck, audio support and graphic design and aired live on Etv Channel 18.
- PACOG Small Group Sessions
– A companion to the live event, this pre-taped meeting was shot at Central High School. The video was to show the pubic how the Burnham group gathers information from Pueblo residents.
- Library Lecture Series
– The Pueblo Library District called upon PCC Productions to single-camera tape presentations by local experts for replay on Etv Channel 18. Five episodes were edited tape-to-tape by PCC Production’s work-studies concerning financial planning, self-help and estate planning issues.
- CACI Colorado Business Tax Reform (Rotary Presentation)
– The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce ask PCC Productions to cover this informative meeting at La Renaissance concerning budget reform in Colorado. A single camera location shot and a tape-to-tape post edit put the presentation on Etv Channel 18.
- Columbus Day Rally
– A single camera caught the rally downtown on this past Columbus Day.
In House Production
- Yamagata Visit Video– This music video edit was designed to showcase the visit from PCC’s sister college in Japan. Enlisting the editing capabilities of the Media 100 and special musical arrangements the video was shot entirely on location and was edited in less than 24 hours.
- Seeds Press Conference
– A live downlink of a Washington bound Scott McGinnis highlighted this live press conference from the G.A.T.C. Occhiato Theater. The production truck, engineering, audio support and graphic design made the SEEDS presentation a special event on Channel 18.
Special Community Events
PHEF Telethon (3rd Year) – The live five-hour telecast includes several weeks of pre-production for musical and dance groups, as well as PCC & USC student interviews. The high profile event not only highlights the accomplishments of PHEF and the students they support but draws on every resource PCC Productions has. Eight cameras, two virtual recorders, multi-channel audio, extensive graphic design and production, two studios, four rooms and the Occhiato Theater captured the live event on Cinco de Mayo. |
