You must pay a $25.00 application fee at the clerk's office in the judicial building prior to having the application processed in the Public Defender's Office. You must bring the receipt for the $25.00 fee to our office and fill out the application. If the court has waived the fee, which only the court can do, then you must bring the paperwork from the court indicating that the fee has been waived.
