Gateway Students…
ü Are 17 to 20 years old.
ü Live within Pueblo City Schools boundaries (currently negoitating agreements with District 70).
ü Have dropped out of high school.
ü Are behind in high school credits for their age and grade.
ü Have GPA of 2.0 or less (some exceptions made).
ü Have expressed a commitment to completing their high school diploma.
ü Are able to test at an 8th grade reading level and are able to perform well on additional Reading, Math, Grammar, and Writing assessments.
ü Are risk takers, committed to working hard and changing their lives
Gateway to College works exclusively with students who have not experienced success in a traditional high school.
