For Army Families: High-quality, affordable Army-Sponsored child care is now available in Pueblo and Fremont Counties.
Army Child Care in Your Neighborhood - Our CCR&R is one of 12 organizations in the nation participating in Army Child Care in Your Neighborhood (ACCYN), a project created to meet the demand for high-quality, off-post child care options for Army Families. We achieve our goal by maintaining a network of qualified civilian family child care homes and centers that are comparable to the programs found on military installations. Currently, we have 10 qualified child care programs involved. Learn More about ACCYN
Coming Soon!! Take a "Virtual Tour" of ACCYN Family Child Care Homes - Family Child Care Online is a new online search tool for Army families searching for ACCYN family child care homes "beyond the gates" of Ft. Carson. When setting up your search, please check the ACCYN box to find ACCYN providers. These are the providers who can accept Army Fee Assistance. Some of our ACCYN Family Child Care Homes will also have a virtual tour available.
Army Fee Assistance - Army families that choose ACCYN child care providers pay reduced fees, comparable to those charged on post. Fees are based on "total family" income, with discounts generally given for multiple children. To learn more about fee assistance, call Tina at 719-549-3407 or email tina.sauer@pueblocc.edu. Submit fee assistance application to NACCRRA by clicking here.
About ACCYN Providers - In order for civilian child care programs to qualify to participate in ACCYN, providers must pass a background screening, and be trained in child abuse prevention, fire, health and safety procedures, CPR and First Aid. Once qualified, providers will have access to training, on-site technical assistance, and assistance with achieving national accreditation and/or the Child Development Associate Credential (CDA). Learn more about Accreditation.
Collaborating for Military Children - Army Child Care in Your Neighborhood is a collaborative effort among the United States Army, the National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies (NACCRRA), and local Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies (CCR&Rs).
