Our mission is to promote the growth and development of high quality early childhood care and education systems; provide local, state and national leadership to build a diverse high quality child care network with parental choice and equal access for all families. 

Children First Child Care Resource & Referral is a partner of Qualistar Early Learning and our offices are located in Pueblo.  We maintain a satellite office in Canon City at the Pueblo Community College Fremont Campus. 

We assist parents by honoring their right to choose the best child care situation for their family by referring parents to available child care options and helping them to become quality conscious and well-informed consumers.  We also conduct parent workshops and seminars and assist parents in accessing information about financial assistance for child care. 

We assist child care providers by providing information to help new providers get licensed and set up their business.  We provide on-going technical assistance, training opportunities and information about activities that allow providers to stay informed of new advances in early care and education.

Our work with employers and communities includes collaborating with service organizations that support children and families, increasing public awareness about quality child care and related family issues and assisting in the design of on-site child care centers.
