Storm Water Pollution Prevention
This course provides training in storm water pollution prevention techniques for employees at facilities that have storm water discharge permits under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES). The Environmental Protection Agency’s interpretation of 40 CFR 122.26 requires employee training in storm water pollution prevention techniques.
Objective
This course covers the regulations, permits, and authorities that govern storm water pollution. It explains the components of facility-specific storm water pollution prevention plans and describes the fundamentals of storm water sampling.
