Troy Bodle

Mechanical Maintenance Training Specialist
Mr. Bodle has over 25 years of experience in
mechanical maintenance professions.  He is American Welding Society (AWS) certified in all position for pipe and structural welding.  In addition he is a Federal Aviation Administration certified Airframe and Power plant Mechanic and Environmental Protection Agency certified Universal Refrigerant Technician.  Retired as a US Army Chief Warrant Officer CW3, Mr. Bodle was responsible for the operational readiness of 64 combat aircraft, 128 aircraft maintenance personnel, 78 support personnel, and 31 civilian contract maintenance personnel.

Troy Carsten

Student Employee
Mr. Carsten is 27 years old and has been attending PCC for 1 year. He is starting the broadcasting program Spring 2012. Troy is married to Nicole and they have a 1 year-old son named Elliot.

Debbie Clement

Administrative Assistant II
Ms. Clement is presently working with the new Community Based Job Training Grant.  She attended Pueblo Community College in the accounting program and has over 20 years of bookkeeping and clerical experience. She has been married for 36 years, has three children and four grandchildren.

Amanda Corum

Director of Operations
Ms. Corum has over 5 years of experience in project and resources management.  In addition she served as the Project Coordinator for the Institute for Advanced Manufacturing Training funded by the U.S. Department of Labor Community - Based Job Training Grant. She holds a M.B.A with an emphasis in Project Management from Colorado Technical University, a B.S. degree in Computer Information Technology from Colorado State University - Pueblo and an AAS degree in Computer Information Systems from Pueblo Community College.  Ms. Corum has also received a certificate in E-Business from Pueblo Community College. 

Kathy Cox

Project Coordinator
Ms. Cox has over 22 years of experience in project and construction management.  She holds an Associate degree in Electrical Mechanical Civil & CAD Drafting and a certificate in Geographical Information Systems both from Pueblo Community College.  Ms. Cox is a member of the PCC staff as an adjunct faculty member teaching AutoCad.  Ms Cox also serves as a member of Pueblo Regional Building Departments Mechanical Board of Appeals.

Alejandra de Anda

Operations Specialist
Ms. de Anda has an Associate of Arts from Pueblo Community College and is continuing her education at Colorado State University - Pueblo to receive a BA in Psychology.

Judy Fosdick

Weatherization Coordinator
Judy Fosdick has sixteen years in the green building industry. She built passive solar conrete homes that won numerous state and national awards for energy efficiency. She is certified in NABCEP, RESNET Energy Rater, LEED, Accredited Professional, and BPI Building Analyst, Heating Analyst, and Air Leakage Control Installer. She is the Weatherization Training Center Coordinator for the Pueblo Community College.

Jerry Geiger

 

Mechanical Maintenance Training Specialist 
Mr. Geiger has over 40 years of experience in the mechanical industrial field. Over the years he has worked closely with various community college technical programs as well as numbers of trade associations, including Scott Community College, Kirkwood Community College, Illowa Maintenance Council, Hawaii Transportation Association, Aloha Bus conference, Nebraska Maintenance Council , and before it ended, the diesel program at Southern Colorado State College.  He holds a B.S. Degree in Industrial Technology Engineering with a minor in Diesel Technology from Colorado State University-Pueblo. He also holds an A.A.S. Diesel Mechanic.  His recent work experience includes 15 years at Cummins, Inc. in various field technical support positions.

Tom Jagunich
  

Electrical Maintenance Training Specialist

Mr. Jagunich has over 33 years experience in the areas of Electronics, Electro Mechanical, & Microelectronics Manufacturing. with an emphasis in Electro Magnetic Field.  He holds an A.A.S. degree in Science from Hibbing State Jr. College and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.  Mr. Jagunich has a broad background having worked at GPS Source, Aeroflex, Plasmon, Quantum and Sperry. He has two years experience as an Industrial Electricity trainer with PCC.

Ron Madrid
 

Operations Management Training Coordinator
Ron Madrid has over thirty years of manufacturing experience including Six-Sigma and Green Belt while creating and improving business processes.  He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from University of Southern Colorado.

Arthur Malechek

 

Technology Education Specialist
Mr Malechek has over 39 years experience in manufacturing, process instructions, process improvements, job relations, and design. A graduate apprentice machinist, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Illinois University. His experience in, and understanding of both, the manufacturing and design arenas provide a unique and ready source of knowledge from which students may draw. Art has extensive experience as a Productibility Engineer working for Texas Instruments, helping engineers in the Design for Manufacturability, Design for Assembly, and the correct application of GD&T on new product designs in accordance with the ASME Y14.5M standard. In addition to teaching courses in all areas of manufacturing, quality control, and human relations; Art draws on his vast manufacturing background to teach the 10 and 30 hour OSHA General Industry Outreach Safety courses.

Tom Marranzino

Welding Instructor
Mr. Marranzino has over 47 years experience in welding and 20 years as a welding instructor. Tom was a weld shop manager for 7 years at Farrell Corp. and worked for Pipe Fitters for 37 years. Tom is a certified welding inspector and certified welding educator, registered with the American Welding Society.

Ralph Ponce

Lab Coordinator
Ralph Ponce has over 20 years of experience working in the automotive industry, working as a welder, and with the Colorado Department of Transportation in the Traffic Department.  He has recently earned an Associates degree in Industrial Electronics Electromechanical Technology at Pueblo Community College.

Ken Shore   

 Electrical Instructor
Mr. Shore has been a Colorado State licensed Master Electrician for 12 years, a Colorado State Electrical Contractor for 10 years and holds a Colorado State teaching Credential for Career and Technical Education. He is currently teaching at Pueblo Community College.

Charly Vigil
 

Student Employee
Ms. Vigil is 18 and has 1 year old son. She graduated in 2011 and now is a freshman attending Pueblo Community College to get an Associates in Art and plans on continuing her education at CSU for a BA in Psychology. She also plans on getting her cosmetology license and expects great things for her and her son's future.

John Vukich

 

Dean, Economic & Workforce Development Division
Mr. Vukich has over 30 years experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Technical Education.  He holds a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Colorado State University-Pueblo. Experience includes: Eleven years at Texas Instruments, Inc. as a Methods & Tooling Engineer and Manufacturing Engineering Manager where he managed engineering staff as well as a multi-million dollar departmental budget, four years as President of Diversified Products & Research, Inc., three years with the Mid America Manufacturing Technology Center as a Field Engineer and eleven years with Pueblo Community College. Mr. Vukich also serves on the Board of Directors for Pueblo Retention and Expansion Program, and is a member of Kiwanis Club of Pueblo.

Nancy Zimmer

Outreach Coordinator
Ms. Zimmer has over ten years in workforce development.  Nancy has a solid history working with job seekers as well as employers. She brings experience in program management and curriculum development, implementation and evaluation.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Colorado in Pueblo and obtained her Master’s degree in Public Administration through the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs.
