MATCHING GIFTS CHALLENGE

A new matching gift challenge has been given to stimulate the Fremont Capital Campaign.  Every dollar raised up to $75,000 will be matched with an additional dollar by local, long-time supporters of the Fremont campus. If you donate $50, the Campaign will receive $100.  If you donate $1,000, the Campaign will receive $2,000! What a way to add momentum to our efforts.

Why do we need an expansion at the Fremont Campus? We have run out of room. Our students need:

• a commons area for:
  • Student government activities
  • Community non-credit and life-long learning programs
  • Short-term trainings for business and industry
  • Student events
  • Community meetings and events
• added classroom space
  • To offer more students  nursing, art, and business classes
• an additional separate facility to offer Career Technical classes to include:
  • new and current hands-on career and technical courses to include wild land fire, Fire Science and EMS
• and the possible addition of welding, machining and energy maintenance programs.

Please note that Fremont Campus qualifies for the Colorado Enterprise Zone Tax Credit.  All gifts between $250 - $100,000, restricted for the expansion, are eligible for a 25% Colorado State Tax Credit and that credit may be spread over 5 years if needed.  Please consult with your tax attorney or CPA.
