The following Internet addresses allow various levels of access to the Federal Register, which is published by the Office of the Federal Register, National Archives and Records Administration. It is the vehicle by which the Executive Branch of the U.S. government publishes rules, regulations, and Presidential Executive Orders.

http://www.citation.com/ CPI Electronic Publishing, Scottsdale, AZ (subscription, password/authorization) search by CFR section, agency, keyword, or date

http://www.cos.com/   (Community of Science, Baltimore, MD). Select the tab "Services". Go to the bottom of the page and select "Bibliographic Databases" to access MedLine, GeoRef, U.S. Patents, Federal Register, and others.
