Faculty Tips for Using Password Protected Online Databases
First Search. The database provides access to library collection holdings throughout the world. To use FirstSearch enter these acccess codes:

L.O.I.S. A full-text law database, L.O.I.S. is currently password restricted. Prior to use, check the question box before the database title to find the password you need to log onto the system. As an instructor, you can purchase a block of individual passwords from LOIS that your students can use the entire semester. Students may use the database free for two weeks. Contact the Library staff for more information.
EBSCO Host. EBSCO Host provides access to professional educator links, K-12 resources, hundreds of newspapers and thousands of general, professional, and health-medical periodicals. IP recognition allows rapid on-campus access, and off-campus access is supported via Library card number (your staff/student "S" number if it has been validated in the Library). Contact the Library Staff for more information about the EBSCO databases.
