Orientations

Library orientations are available upon arrangement with the Library staff. It is highly recommended that orientations be directly linked to assignments so that students retain more of the information discussed in the orientation. (For example, a nursing orientation will cover medical books, videotapes, periodicals, and access methodology, both print and online/electronic, with students receiving hands-on use of available resources.

Coordination with--and receiving input from---instructors input is important so that the Library can continue to provide the highest quality information service to the PCC community.

E-mail us to make an appointment for either groups or individuals. Please be as specific as possible with date, time, number of persons in the group, and what you would like covered in the orientation (i.e. how to find journal articles, how to research a speech topic).
