Off Campus Resources

Library Mission	Educate students, provide access to information, teach users information skills for life-long learning, and support Pueblo Community College's community role.
Borrower Registration	To become a registered borrower, fill out the online registration form. Your last name and your student identification number become your passport to PCC's online resources when you are using an off campus computer.
Collection	52,600+ resources: print books, electronic books (netLibrary), online journals, newspapers, and reference resources.
Colorado Libraries Collaborate (CLC)	The PCC Library is a CLC member. This means that you are able to check out materials from other CLC libraries when you present your valid PCC ID.
Library Catalog	Check out the resources in the online catalog. You will find print books located in the Pueblo, Fremont, and Durango campus libraries and electronic books from our netLibrary collection here.
Full Text Resources	To access full text resources off campus, click on the off campus link in Periodicals or Reference Resources. You will be asked to provide identification, which is your "S" or "A9" number and your last name. The title of each resource is linked.
Annals of America	Primary resources for American history -- speeches, historical accounts, poems, images, and multimedia resources.
Britannica Online	Full-text, reliable, authoritative encyclopedia; general information, graphics, and links to other resources; updated monthly.
EBSCOHost	This is the major online, full-text journal resource provided by the library. Journal articles, newspapers, ERIC documents, an encyclopedia, and an almanac.
	Academic Search Premier - An academic, multi-discipline database that provides full text to more than 4,600 journals.
	Business Source Premier - Full text to over 8,800 scholarly business journals.
	Communication & Mass Media Complete - Resources covering communications and media, including journals, scripts, and newsprint.
	EBSCO Animals - In-depth information on the nature and habitat of familiar animals.
	ERIC - Abstracts, references, and full-text articles from over 980 education and education-related journals.
	Fuente Academica - A unique collection of scholarly academic journals from Latin America.
	Funk & Wagnall's' New World Encyclopedia - An encyclopedia oriented to K-12 students with over 25,000 entries.
	Health Source - Consumer Edition - Consumer health information in medicine, food sciences and nutrition, child care, sports medicine, and general health.
	Mas Ultra -- School Edition - Full text to over 700 general interest and current events publications -- pamphlets, reference books, biographies, primary source documents, and an image collection of photos, maps, and flags.
	MedicLatina - A Spanish language collection of medical research and investigative journals.
	Middle Search Plus - Full text access to over 150 popular magazines.
	Newspaper Source - Full text for over 25 national U.S. and international newspapers.
	Primary Search - Full text for more that 60 popular magazines for elementary schools.
	Professional Development Collection - A highly specialized collection of nearly 550 education journals and over 200 educational reports.
	Regional Business News - Coverage for 75 regional business publications -- journals, newspapers, and newswires.
	TOPICsearch - A current events database to social, political, and economic issues, scientific discoveries, and other popular topics.
	Book Index With Reviews - This database is found on the first screen within the EBSCOHost database. The link is at the bottom of the page.
Grove Art Online	45,000 articles about paintings, sculptures, and architecture; thumbnail images and links to museum and gallery web sites worldwide.
Heritage Colorado	Digitized photographs and other resources from Colorado regional libraries, museums, and historical societies.
L.O.I.S.	Case law representing the U.S. Supreme Court, all district courts, the CO Supreme Court, the CO Court of Appeals, and CO case law since 1924. (Off-campus: sign up for two weeks' free access.)
netLibrary	Over 14,000 eBooks. The books may be located in the PCC online catalog or by going to the netLibrary website. You must register from a PCC computer (Fremont, Durango, or Fremont) or request to be registered for netLibrary access by clicking HERE.
