The PCC Library has 14,000 digital books (books in electronic format) available to registered borrowers.
To become a PCC registered borrower:
- Take your PCC ID and go to a PCC campus -- Cortez, Fremont, Pueblo
- Go to the Library at Pueblo or Fremont, or ask for assistance at Cortez
- Indicate you would like to register for Library Services
- Certain personal information will be entered in the circulation system.
- You will be issued a bar code that will be placed on the back of your PCC ID.
You may also become a PCC registered borrower without going to a campus.
- Go to the PCC Library web page /CampusResources/Library
- Within the screen's left column, select Registration
- Complete and submit the Online Borrower Application form.
- You will be registered and your patron bar code will be mailed to you.

These digital books may be accessed three ways:

Visit netLibrary from a PCC computer to browse, search, or view ebooks. This does not require logging into netLibrary. Go to netLibrary http://www.netlibrary.com/

Visit netLibrary as a patron. · Patrons are members of affiliated libraries who have established a user account with netLibrary. If you are a patron, you can: · Check out materials from your library's collection to view online · Search or browse netLibrary's entire collection of eBooks · Modify preferences and establish Bookshelves in My netLibrary.

From the PCC Library Online Catalog either on or off-campus. · Search the online catalog. Electronic books are identified as "ebook" on the far right side of the screen.

To check out eBooks
· Click on the URL in the catalog record (located near the bottom of the catalog record)
· This will take you to the BCR/OCLC NetLibrary web page. · Select LOG IN in the upper right corner of the screen.
