Fitness for Everyone!

Personalized Program

If you are enrolled in a Physical Education course, you will take part in an orientation and initial fitness evaluation. Orientations are offered each week throughout the year. With the aid of a computer, your test results are analyzed and an individual exercise program is prescribed. Fitness re-evaluations are completed every 15 weeks and your training program is modified as your fitness improves.

The Recreation Center is open to everyone 18 years of age or older. Registration is easy and no prior experience in using weight or aerobic equipment is needed. The center is open six days a week, including Saturday mornings. You may enroll in the Recreation Center at any time throughout the year. After your initial orientation, you will have unlimited use of the Recreation Center for the next 15 weeks.

The "Aerobic Power Circuit", an innovative conditioning program developed by the Aerobic Institute, is a central feature of the Recreation Center. The Aerobic Power Circuit combines cardiovascular and strength training activities designed for the on-the-go individual wanting to shed pounds and inches.
