    Dear Students, Staff and Faculty,

Please be advised that the plan I outlined earlier remains relevant and no changes are necessary in order for the college to comply with the Governor’s order on Wednesday, March 25. Most importantly, please be advised that we are operating in a virtual environment, but the college is not closed. As such, we do need to have a few individuals on campus during the work week.

As of Monday, March 30, 2020:

    • All remote classes begin as planned. Faculty and instructors need to reach out to students to reaffirm.
    • Face-to-face Career and Technology labs (such as welding and automotive) have been postpone until at least April 20, 2020. Students should contact their instructor for verification.
    • All buildings on all campuses/sites remain locked with limited access starting Monday, March 30. Students may come to campus by appointment starting next week. Health questionnaires will be conducted with students and visitors.
    • Most student services will be offered virtually. Students may have access to on-campus support by appointment only and only one student may be served at a time. Social distancing and disinfection is mandatory.

Those employees assigned to the following areas are able to come to work (as planned) as these are deemed necessary for business continuity:

    • Public Safety
    • Call Center
    • Library
    • Learning Center
    • Health Center
    • Food Pantry
    • Information Technology
    • Facilities/Housekeeping

All other employees are to work remotely. Anyone who needs to come to campus to go to their office or pick up items, may do so for a limited time. Be sure to bring your PCC badge to gain access. College campuses/sites remain closed this Friday. Please note that the Call Center, IT, and Facilities/Housekeeping will be on campus (in a very limited capacity this week).

    Thank you,
