GED Preparation Classes
 

“A Pathway to a New and Better Future”
Eight-week GED Preparation classes are offered through CETD & Pre-College Programs at Pueblo Community College. GED Preparation classes are designed to assist students who are self motivated, independent learners, committed to improving their lives by earning a General Education Diploma (GED). To enroll in the GED Class, individuals must be at least 17 years old.

The purpose of the PCC GED Preparation classes is to provide an opportunity for those individuals lacking a high school diploma to earn a GED certificate. This certificate can provide individuals with opportunities for continuing their education and to expand their opportunities for employment. The GED certificate can be the beginning of a new and better life. Students are provided with instruction to help them successfully pass the four GED tests: Reasoning through Language Arts, Math Reasoning, Science and Social Studies. Instruction in test taking and study skills as well as pre and post practice GED READY assessments are provided. Students are also referred to the appropriate campus offices for assistance and information about enrolling in PCC and applying for financial aid.  Call the CETD & Pre-College Programs office at (719) 549.3267 for an upcoming class schedule.
