The GED Preparation Lab on the Pueblo Campus is open:
8 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Friday
6 pm - 9:00 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
You can choose to attend in the morning, afternoon, or evening.

The GED Preparation Lab* is offered to anyone lacking a high school diploma or its equivalency. You must be at least 17 years of age and have officially dropped out of school to qualify for admission.
The lab will assist you in upgrading your basic skills in reading, math, and language for the purpose of preparing you for, and successfully completing, the General Educational Development text. |
*There is a GED Lab Registration Fee for each semester you attend.

The GED consists of five tests in the following areas:
- Writing Skills (including essay writing)
- Social Studies
- Science
- Reading
- Mathematics
To enroll in the GED classes, follow these steps:
- Contact the Adult Education Office and ask to be placed on the contact list for the GED classes.
- Attend an orientation to receive detailed information about the classes, complete a TABE pre-test, and complete the enrollment paperwork.
- Register for the GED class.
- Begin class
