    PCC offers several options to help high school students get a jump start on their educational goals. Explore the options below for more information or contact your High School student counselor.

    Eligibility Criteria for all High School Programs

    • Be a high school junior or senior
    • Be in good academic standing in high school
    • Have a qualifying GPA (per district/school guidelines)
    • Have qualifying ACT or ACCUPLACER scores
    • Must maintain a ā€œCā€ or better in each college class
    • Student must apply for and access their College Opportunity Fund (COF) for all PCC classes




  • Early College

    Full-time college
    Available at all Pueblo City Schools High Schools, all Pueblo School District 70 Schools, Dolores Huerta Preparatory High School and Southern Colorado Early College

    Degree completion emphasis
    Associate of Arts (AA)
    Associate of Science (AS)
    Associate of General Studies (AGS)

    Enrollment
    Enroll in a minimum of 12 credits per semester College credits may replace high school credits

    Costs:
    School district pays all tuition
    Books responsibility of student ā€“ some programs provide book voucher

    Students enrolled in ECOL are concurrently enrolled students at Pueblo Community College and their home high school. Students gain all the rights and privileges afforded a PCC student as well as the ability to fully participate in sports, activities, and events at their home school.

    Part-Time Transfer (formerly PSEO)

    Part-time college
    Available at All Pueblo City Schools High Schools and all District 70 High Schools

    Academic course emphasis
    2 courses up to 10 credits per semester
    College and high school credits dually awarded

    Costs: School district pays for all tuition Student pays for fees and books

    Students enrolled in part-time transfer courses become concurrently enrolled students at Pueblo Community College and their home high school. Students gain all the rights and privileges afforded a PCC student as well as the ability to fully participate in sports, activities, and events at their home school.

    Part-Time Technical (formerly AVEP)

    Part-time college
    Available at All Pueblo City Schools High Schools and all District 70 High Schools

    Vocational and technical course emphasis
    2 courses up to 10 credits per semester
    College and high school credits dually awarded

    Costs:
    School district pays for all tuition, books, & most fees

    Students enrolled in part-time technical courses become concurrently enrolled students at Pueblo Community College and their home high school. Students gain all the rights and privileges afforded a PCC student as well as the ability to fully participate in sports, activities, and events at their home school
