Occupational Degree

The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree prepares individuals to enter skilled and/or paraprofessional occupations or to upgrade/stabilize their employment. These programs are not intended for transfer to baccalaureate degree programs; however, certain courses may be accepted toward a bachelor’s degree at other institutions. Students should consult an academic advisor for information about the transferability of specific courses.

• Minimum requirements for an AAS degree include the following:
• Minimum of 60 semester hours of course work
• Cumulative GPA of 2.000 or higher
• 15 semester hours of general education courses
• Additional requirements of 45 semester hours as listed within the individual programs of study
• Minimum of 15 graded semester hours earned at PCC
