COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Provides for discussion of Level II fieldwork experiences and opportunity to apply logical thinking, critical analysis, problem solving, and creativity to application problems.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

 

By the completion of this course, the student will have the opportunity to:

 

A.

Discuss all aspects of a Level II Clinical, reviewing strengths, weaknesses, and learning opportunities.

 

B.

Employ logical thinking, critical analysis, problem solving, and creativity to application problems as presented by course instructor or from Level II fieldwork experiences.

Special Remarks:  Student must receive a grade of “C” or better in order to receive graduation credit for this course.  OTA program students may only repeat (1) OTA core curriculum course.  If another D, F or W occurs in the OTA core classes the student may be dismissed from the OTA Program.  A student is eligible to reapply for readmission into the program under the Chair /Advisory board discretion.

METHODS OF INSTRUCTION:

 

To be successful in this course, students are expected to participate in discussions, readings, in-class writing, and peer review activities.
