Shirley J. Marino, COTA, AP joined the PCC faculty as a full time member in 1995 after helping as an adjunct for a number of years. Shirley teaches many of the program's modality, introductory, and physical disability courses and is the student club sponsor. Shirley has been involved with American Occupational Therapy Association committees for 3 years and worked with the Association for 2 years. Shirley has lived in Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, and Kansas before moving to Colorado in 1981. Prior to becoming a COTA, she worked in a variety of settings. Shirley is described by her students as "energetic, maintains a relaxed atmosphere in class, is fun and entertaining."
