PROGRAM CHOICES:  The Nursing program meets the statewide articulation guidelines to facilitate your education with a minimum of repetition.  After meeting general education requirements, the nursing program has two options:  1) the regular full-time program consisting of four full college semesters of nursing credit, and 2) the part-time evening/weekend program (available only in the second year). These programs are offered based on sufficient number of applicants and resources.

If a student has attended another Nursing program, a letter of reference from a former nursing instructor must be submitted to the Program Chair prior to admission.

Reasonable accommodations will be made to help students meet program requirements/objectives. Click here for a complete list of the functional abilities essential for Nursing practice.

ADVISING: It is encouraged that you meet with a nursing program advisor at the college/campus you are in interested in for further/updated admission information.  You may make appointments at PCC by calling the Nursing Department secretary at (719) 549-3409.  Please bring basic assessment scores and any transcripts when meeting with the nursing advisor.
