The next EMT-I to Paramedic Bridge course at PCC will be offered in conjunction with the Paramedic course starting in August of 2011. Biology 106 must be completed before the start of the paramedic program. Biology 201 is also required but may be taken as a corequisite during internship.
I-P students are given credit for Fundamentals of Paramedic Practice and Paramedic Trauma. You will also recieve credit for some clinicals and patient contacts done during your intermediate program. This program starts the end of September and completes classes the end of March.
To be accepted into the program, you will need to talk with an advisor and fill out the program application. The application can be found by clicking on the applications/procedures link at the right. Applicants should contact Ann Flores (719-549-3489) to schedule an appointment with an advisor.

Each lecture class has a corresponding lab/clinical class.
Durango and Pueblo students: This class will be lead by our primary paramedic instructors, Dr. Michele Sweeney and Mr. Leroy Garcia via interactive video conferencing. The program will be a combination of video conferencing, local instruction, skills labs and clinicals.
Durango students: Plan on traveling once each semester to Pueblo for clinical rotations that are not available in the Durango area. There is also a clinical rotation at The Children's Hospital in Denver during the second semester.
