Do you want to make a difference in someone's life?

A child chokes. Someone collapses at a sports event. A car wrecks. A woman is having a baby NOW! Someone is shot. These and other possibly life-threatening events need a rapid medical response from Emergency Medical Service (EMS) personnel who evaluate, care for and transport the ill or injured. If you have good judgment, can handle high stress, have leadership capability and emotional stability, you can become a part of this exciting career path.
Opportunities
As an EMS professional, you may work in ambulance services, fire services, tactical EMS, critical care transport, and as an emergency department technician. If you graduate with an AAS degree, you have additional career opportunities in administration and management in the pre-hospital field.
