9. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Attendance--College policy states that students may be dropped from class when absent 20% or more of the scheduled class meetings.  A small percentage of your final grade will be based on your attendance.
Tardy Policy--A student who is late for class (after the roll is taken) three times will be charged with one absence.
Material presented in class--The student is responsible for all information and material presented in class.  Quizzes given when the student is not in attendance will not be made up.  Drawings may be redone to raise the students grade.  (An average between the two drawings will be the final grade for the drawing.)  Major tests (mid-term and final exams) may be made up IF prior arrangements are made with the instructor.
Academic Integrity--This should be common sense, nevertheless, cheating will not be tolerated.  The first time, the person who is copying and the person who provided the opportunity to copy will split the final grade for that assignment.  Subsequent violations may result in dismissal from class.
Tests and quizzes must be the students OWN effort without assistance.  When working worksheets and drawings, students may exchange ideas, however, each student must hand in his own work for grading.  Drawings REQUIRE your original and a copy.
ADA Notice--Students who have a documented disability may be eligible to receive accommodations for this class. Please contact the Disability Resources Center at 549-3446 for further information.
