    The Web Design and Development program provides high demand skills in the digital world of information and technology. The PCC Web Design and Development degree prepares students for a career in web-based multimedia applications with an emphasis on web coding and development.     What Will I Learn
    The Web Design and Development program teaches you the necessary coding languages to build and maintain websites, mobile applications, and other interactive multimedia. We go beyond the basics, adding the high demand skills of database development, basic networking, aesthetics, and search engine optimization and analytics. This integrated curriculum includes courses in business, communication, design, and project management. The software applications are current with industry standards.

    Be In Demand. You will be able to employ current technologies, manage, and test digital media applications that adhere to the industry standards. Students practice communications theory, conceptual and creative development, and careful consideration of the “end-user” experience. All while meeting the needs of customers with sound business practices. You will gain knowledge to earn gainful employment or start your own business.

    Learn from Professionals Working in the Field. Instructors are professionals currently working for local media and computer firms, or are entrepreneurs and freelancers. Many instructors have 20+ years experience in related fields, bringing current and real world experience straight into the classroom.
