Career InformationA degree in office administration prepares you to launch your career in a large corporation or small company at an entry level or mid-level position. A hardworking and dedicated individual can find plenty of opportunities to increase one’s salary and for job advancement in the field. An entry level position can earn $35,000 annual salary depending on the location. Combining a two year degree with experience can open many and diverse career paths.
What Will I LearnThe Office Administration program prepares you for a career as an office professional in a variety of fields and industries. You will master state-of-the-art technology, learn top-notch interpersonal and communication skills, develop strong project management, tracking, and organizing skills, and learn to solve problems creatively. As a student preparing to graduate and enter the workforce there is the opportunity to gain relevant experience through internships.The Office Administration program offers a 2 year AAS degree with three emphasis areas in bookkeeping, medical office, and leadership. Each of these emphasis areas are also certificate programs. There is also a Customer Service Academy Certificate.
