Assists students in recognizing their career potential, and provides tools for making realistic decisions concerning educational and occupational objectives.
5. COURSE GOAL:
To demonstrate understanding of job-seeking skills.
6. COURSE OBJECTIVES:
I. Describe the components of making a career decision.
II. Identify the steps in a career planning decision.
III. Use learning resources to investigate potential career opportunities.
IV. Compose a professional resume.
V. Compose a cover letter.
VI. Formulate the steps required to implement a personal career plan.

8. METHODS OF INSTRUCTION:
To be successful in this course, students are expected to participate in discussions, readings, in-class writing, and peer review activities. The instructor may assign point values to such activities.
