MyMathLabStudent Access Kit, paper, pencil. NO CALCULATORS.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Includes the vocabulary, operations and applications of whole numbers, decimals and basic fractions and mixed numbers.

EVALUATION PROCEDURES

 

This course is delivered via MyMathLab and requieres active participation in the use of the online software probram. It is strongley recommended that you attend the Math Lab (DAB 276) on a regular basis.  All Assignments and Exams must be done in MyMathLab.  Exams must be done in the Math Lab (AB 276).  Textbooks, notes and calculators may NOT be used on the exams.

 

Grading Scale:
The following Grading Scale will be used:

90% – 100% - S/A
80% – 89% - S/B
70% – 79% - S/C
60% - 69% - U/D
0% - 59% - U/F

 

8.       Special Remarks:

Cheating:

If cheating occurs, it will result in a zero on that exam.

Attendance:

Attendance will be taken and students will be dropped when they have missed 20% of the total class hours unless prior arrangements have been made with the instructor.  Missed exams will result in a zero for that exam unless prior arrangements have been made.

Conduct:

Professional and courteous behavior is expected at all times.  Disruptive behavior is unacceptable in the classroom and may result in the student's temporary or permanent removal from the course.

Help is available outside of class in the math lab or from your instructor.

If necessary, your instructor can help you obtain a tutor.

ACADEMIC INTEGRITY:

 

The very nature of higher education requires that students adhere to accepted standards of academic integrity.
