I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Fitchburg State College, Fitchburg, Massachusetts in 1976. I earned my Masters Degree in Education from Lesley College, Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1997.I grew up in Falmouth, Massachusetts, but have lived in Pueblo, Colorado since 1983. I love the West, but I miss the ocean and the colors of a New England fall. Yes, I still have an accent, but it is not as strong as it used to be. I absolutely love my job at PCC and enjoy meeting students from all over the state. I love teaching and never expected that someday I would teach at a college. I have served as a van driver, preschool teacher, and a Center Director in California, Texas, Germany, Colorado Springs and Pueblo. I worked for School District 60 for 7 years as a Site Coordinator and High/Scope trainer. I came to PCC in August of 2002 and I am beginning my 7th year of an amazing adventure! Please call me at 719-549-3204 if you would like more information about Early Childhood Education or about our transfer program to Adams State College. If you would like information about transferring to Ft. Lewis College in Durango, CO please call Lisa Barrett at 719-970-247-2929 ext.7218.
