Southwest Colorado Community College serves the beautiful southwestern corner of Colorado, which includes Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma, and San Juan Counties. Courses are offered entirely on-line or in hybrid combinations of on-line and classroom meetings, or 100% within classrooms in Durango and Cortez. With the recent advent of these on-line classes, students can now conveniently do the required class-work from home, scheduled around busy lives and unimpaired by poor weather associated with living in the mountains and high plains. With goals of personal or professional enhancement, students find distance-learning an easy way to accomplish their education needs.
