ITV Courses - Getting Started

If you have enrolled in an ITV Course follow the steps below to prepare for a successful semester.

1. Purchase your text books from a PCC campus bookstore or the PCC online bookstore at: http://bookstore.pueblocc.edu/wm_home.htm
    
2. Review the WebCT Vista Student Orientation at:
   http://www.ccconline.org/support/vista/
    
3. Check your class schedule for the starting date of the course. The ITV class schedules are listed on the menu on the left.  
    
4. Know what your PCC student ID number and your PCC PIN number are.  If you don't know them you can get help at the PCC Admissions office or by calling 719-549-3010.
    
5. This class has an online component. You can, and should, access your courses on the first day of class after 12 noon. Click on "Login to Courses" above to access the Login portal.  Interactive TV (ITV) courses are telecast from PCC at the same time as they are being taught on campus. Students watch the lectures on television and interact with their instructor via telephone; or, are given the option of attending classes on campus  Students can call in (549-3241) with questions or comments and receive immediate feedback from the instructor. ITV Classes are only available in Pueblo through Comcast Cable Channel 18.

   In addition to the convenience of watching at home, students can tape the programs for review. Students can access a syllabus and broadcast schedule online. These courses are identified by a "T18" section number.
