Vista Prep Courses

Preparing Master Courses for Vista Summer session:

Log into Vista

This will bring up a screen with master courses, spring courses and possible past fall courses. The terms are identified with SP07 for Spring and FA06 for Fall.

Click on title of the Spring Course to open it and you will see Assign Course Content page.

This page will display 4 options:

1.  Set up a Blank course

You can select this option to start a new empty course that you can start designing. If you pick this course you will need to choose which Vista tools you want to use in the course first.

2.  Copy content from another course

If you have a master course to copy content from you will select this option.

·        After you select this option you will click on “Continue” to bring up all courses that you have access to.

·        Checkmark which course to copy from

·        Click “Continue”

·        This will start the process of copying the entire course over and can take up to several minutes to complete.  DO NOT CLICK on anything.  When copying is complete the spring course will open with content in it.

NOTE:  During the process when it starts to copy and a system error message occurs send an email to Robin.Leach@pueblocc.edu  informing him of error, which master course you were copying into along with which session and he will complete the process for you.

Options 3 and 4 are for the administrators’ use only.  DO NOT USE!
